This year, BornToTrade.guru celebrates 10th anniversary. The project spent its first decade mostly behind the scenes - among charts, algorithms, testing, and building trading tools. I hope the next decade will bring more content, shared experience, and inspiration...
Honestly, when I first started the project, I never imagined it would still be here a decade later - nor that over the years it would have almost 500 users of Trade Manager 4 Pro users and thousands of Trade Manager Lite users across more than 150 countries worldwide especially when it was for free...
A lot has changed since then.
Not only in the markets, technology, and trading itself, but also in life.
A decade of changes
There were periods when the project was highly active, periods when new ideas and tools were constantly being developed, and also quieter periods as life naturally moved in different directions. Priorities changed, new projects appeared, and at times I intentionally stepped away from trading for a while to gain perspective and focus on other areas of life...
But interestingly, trading was always something I eventually came back to.
Why I keep coming back
Not necessarily because of money or the idea of “quick success,” but because I genuinely enjoy the process itself:
- the psychology,
- the probability,
- the constant learning,
- the search for patterns,
- and the fact that markets never stop teaching humility.
And maybe that is exactly why this project still means so much to me after all these years.
More than just trading
Trading has never been something I wanted to do as a full-time isolated lifestyle. I’ve always been a person with multiple interests, ideas, and projects. I enjoy building things, programming, creating systems, exploring completely different areas, and constantly learning something new.
To be honest, that variety probably fits my personality much more naturally.
But at the same time, trading has remained one of those things that stayed with me throughout the years no matter what else I was doing. It became part of a much bigger personal journey - not only about markets, but also about discipline, psychology, patience, risk, uncertainty, and understanding myself better.
What’s coming next
Over the coming period, I plan to:
- continue writing and sharing ideas,
- develop new tools and features,
- improve the platform technically,
- and expand the project in directions I had been thinking about for years.
Some of the upcoming things will be smaller improvements. Some will be much larger.
The goal, however, remains the same:
to build something meaningful, useful, honest, and long-term.
What 10 years has taught me
Because after 10 years, one thing is very clear to me:
there is still always something new to learn in trading.
No matter how much experience someone has, the markets constantly force us to adapt, rethink, improve, and stay humble. And maybe that endless depth is exactly what keeps drawing me back.
To everyone reading
So if you’ve been here for years - thank you.
And if you’ve just discovered the project recently:
welcome.
I hope you will find something meaningful here.
